“Are you sure all these charges are related to the damage?” That was the question I asked customer service the most during my claim process. Here’s what happened: In June, I rented a Fiat 500 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The pick-up and return were smooth, but a few days later, I received a charge of 1715.20 DKK for vehicle damage. Since I had purchased AXA Full Coverage, I decided to file a claim. However, the invoice included some confusing fees, like a 375 DKK administration fee and a 327 DKK downtime fee, which puzzled me. Throughout the process, their customer service helped verify the origin of these charges. It was eventually confirmed that the 375 DKK was indeed a damage administration fee, but the 327 DKK downtime fee was never actually deducted. I submitted the necessary documents, and the claim amount was 2090.2 DKK. Although the process was a bit complicated, their patience and professionalism made me feel reassured. In the end, I successfully received the reimbursement, and AXA Full Coverage truly gave me peace of mind.
