EU/EEA driving licenses are valid for car rental across the EU/EEA, as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
If the licence is not in clear Latin characters (and thus unrecognisable as valid), an IDP will be required at the counter (along with the original licence). If the licence is not in Latin numerals, both a translation and the IDP are needed.
